Funds set up to aid victims.

Castle Bank is the fiduciary agent for funds set up to aid victims of the July 6th fire on Hickory Street in Meriden.

The United Way of Meriden and Wallingford, the Record-Journal and the Wallingford-Meriden chapter of the American Red Cross are co-sponsoring the Wiehn Family Fund and the Avery Family Fund.

Donations may be sent to Castle Bank.  Checks should be made payable to the United Way of Meriden and Wallingford with either "Wiehn Family Fund" or "Avery Family Fund" written in the memo.  The money will go to help both families.

Cash and checks can be brought to both of Castle Bank�s offices or sent to P.O. Box 903, Meriden, CT, attention Kyong Wilson.

Donations of clothing and supplies are being accepted at the United Way office located at 35 Pleasant Street, Suite 1E.
